General Questions
What Is Link Recruiting?
Link Recruiting is a professional staffing agency that connects talented individuals with businesses that need their specific skills and experience. We work with companies of all sizes across the country to find the right person for the job, whether it’s a permanent hire or a temporary placement.
What Makes Link Recruiting Different From Other Staffing Agencies?
We stand out because of our personalized, proactive approach. We don’t just rely on a pool of job seekers. Instead, our professional recruiters actively scour the area to find the ideal candidates, even if they aren’t actively looking for a new job. This ensures you get the most qualified person for your role. We also offer flexible solutions, including direct-hire, contract-to-hire, and payroll services, with no fees until a successful hire is made.
What Areas Does Link Recruiting Serve?
While we are based in Republic, Michigan, our staffing services extend to businesses and professionals across the entire United States. We have a strong presence in Eastern Michigan, including Troy, Ann Arbor, Flint, and the greater Metro Detroit area.
Questions for Businesses/Employers
What Services Does Link Recruiting Offer To Businesses?
We offer three core services to help you find the perfect employees and streamline your operations:
- Direct Hire: We handle all the recruiting, interviewing, and vetting to find you a permanent employee.
- Contract to Hire: We find a candidate who works for you on a temporary, 90-day contract, giving you the flexibility to ensure they are the right fit before a permanent commitment.
- Payroll Services: Our local payroll company can manage all the nitty-gritty details of small business payroll, including taxes, insurance, and workers’ compensation.
What Is A Direct Hire Placement?
A direct-hire placement is a permanent hiring solution where Link Recruiting handles the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to vetting, and the successful candidate becomes a direct employee of your company from day one. This saves you valuable time and resources.
What Is The Benefit Of A Contract To Hire Arrangement?
Contract to hire is a low-risk way to find a permanent employee. For the first 90 days, the candidate works under a contract where Link Recruiting covers their payroll, insurance, and taxes. This allows you to evaluate their skills and cultural fit before deciding to hire them on as a permanent employee. If they aren’t the right fit, there’s no risk to you.
Can You Handle Payroll And HR Responsibilities?
Yes! If you prefer, Link Recruiting can act as the Employer of Record for the probationary period (usually 90 days), managing payroll, employer/employee taxes, insurance, and unemployment to save you time and overhead.
How Does Your Payroll Service Work?
Our small business payroll services are designed to simplify your operations. When you use our services, your team members remain your employees, but we handle the entire payroll process, including calculating wages, managing tax withholdings, and handling liability, workers’ compensation, and unemployment insurance.
What Industries Do You Specialize In?
We have experience finding skilled professionals in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to:
- Medical (Nurses, Therapists)
- Aerospace (Engineers)
- Administrative (Clerical Specialists, Payroll Specialists)
- Finance (Accountants)
- Construction (Superintendents)
- Manufacturing (Machine Operators)
If you don’t see your industry listed, contact our professional recruiters at 810-255-0045 to discuss your specific needs.
How Much Do Your Services Cost?
We believe in results-based pricing. There are no fees until a successful hire is made. We charge a simple, one-time fee for placement. You only pay if and when you make a hire through us. There are no upfront fees, resume charges, or hidden costs. For specific pricing details on our different services, please call us to discuss your hiring budget and business size.
How Is Link Recruiting Different From Other Staffing Agencies?
We personalize every search. Instead of forcing candidates into a “contract mold,” we tailor each approach to fit your company’s culture, needs, and long-term goals.
How Do You Vet Your Candidates?
Every candidate is thoroughly sourced, screened, and assessed for both technical skills and cultural fit before being presented.
